In order to optimize their Fleet Management Area, the Boxer Group challenged Psiengine to construct two software applications, and the response was positive!

Psiengine has recently added a valuable Company to their Clients Account: the Boxer Group, and is now collaborating in the development of their technological area.
The two applications built were: Guarantee Extensions Quotations, for Sales Stands, and Interventions Authorizations, for the Vehicles Maintenance Services.
The Quotations system consists of the implementation of a platform that allows the various points of sales: dealerships, banks, rent-a-cars, to promote the sales of Guarantee Extensions and Maintenance Contracts. This application calculates the price of the Guarantee Extensions, simulating the various options available, and the costs of the Services associated with vehicle sales: maintenance, guarantee extension, tire changes, roadside assistance, and substitution vehicle, so that all these Services become automatic.
The Authorizations application will allow The Boxer Group to support the Fleet Management and Maintenance business of the various companies with which it works, to authorize the interventions according to the contracts established with them, and manage thousands of vehicles. These features lead to the need for fast communication, based on a channel that allows the interface with the existing internal system.
The application is designed to allow the management from the beginning of the process, which takes place with the Initial Authorization Request (a web form filled by the supplier’s receptionist) and continues with the Intervention Request, which is validated according to the maintenance contracts celebrated with The Boxer Group by their Services. Boxer can approve the budget partially or totally, and it can be evaluated again in the future.

The process ends with the invoice output of the Services done. Booking and Electronic Billing are features planned for another phase of the project.

The Boxer Group is a company in plain expansion in the Portuguese market, which has led the establishment of this partnership with Psiengine. With the Quotations application it is possible to get indirect channels of business canvassing, through the online calculation of the price of the services to be done in a vehicle, allowing a fast and real-time response to the client. The Authorizations application aims for the increase of productivity and improvement of the relationship with the partners in the area of vehicle maintenance. It is possible to define a service online and check, for example, if the repairs request corresponds exactly to what was done in the vehicle and what is the billing status.
Psiengine is a Portuguese company founded in 2001, and its core business is providing consulting services for the optimization of software development processes, advanced formation, and critical software development support. It is an IT Company, with headquarters in Lisbon, and more than 20 employees. Acting in the European market, and having regular activities in Spain, Psiengine foresees the opening of offices in that country in a short-term future.

March 2010 - Psiengine, in partnership with Let's Talk Group, organizes on April 14th to 16th 2010 the Formación session "Strategic planning of Information Systems", at Hotel Alvalade, in Luanda, Angola.

Februart 2010 – Psiengine will be present at the "Global Strategic Innovation" Event, which will take place in Silicon Valley, the Inicioland fo world's innovation, from March 13rd to March 21st 2010.
This program is promoted by Leadership with the partnership of the following entities: Sri International, Palcus, PAPS, Plug And Play Tech Center, AICEP, ANEMM, APDC, QREN and CCAP.
